Our Mysterious Allies
The stench of death fills the air
damned desecrated souls lie everywhere
they have fought for a lost cause
and look at all we have lost
like a cat the engines purr
and old memories begin to stir
deep within my heart
to look into them is a lost art
"Fire at will", is my command
this is our last stand
we will go down fighting
and we will not be forced into hiding
and then off in the distance
a boom stops time for an instant
more allies of the enemy?
we are blinded by enmity
But no, they are on our side
it's the smile I cannot hide
100,000 more have come
yet we do not know where they are from
now we outnumber the enemy
our souls filled with enmity
we will take them down
they shall lie buried in the ground
The hovercraft take position
bloated with fresh ammunition
this is our last stand
the enemy will decay in the sand
the sun beats down hard
and I am holding the last card
I lay it down in determination
we have saved our nation from extermination
Our mysterious allies leave without a word
Oh, the joy they have stirred!
100,000 more had come
yet we still do not know where they are from
damned desecrated souls lie everywhere
they have fought for a lost cause
and look at all we have lost
like a cat the engines purr
and old memories begin to stir
deep within my heart
to look into them is a lost art
"Fire at will", is my command
this is our last stand
