SAFTY

suddenly waken from the most dreadful noise,
a friend dyeing
I run to the seen
bloody and cold
your broken body lays in the floor
to much to handle I scream
crying, aching my heart breaking
people stirring
I have been to loud
I usually can hide the pain, but not this time!
people arise from there slumber
you see me
against the wall
not able to take it
I collapse,
the wall against my back
my knees shaking
you reach for my hand
but I am not strong enough to pull my self up
you lift me
I fall into your chest
and everything is still
the scene flashes before my eyes,
but I am aware that my tears are falling on your chest
I am safe here
though my heart is breaking
for my friend once there in my hands
now lay broken on the floor.
