it is christmas
there you are smiling getting the expected favorite gift
oh how you look so happy
I am so glade you got those moments
I wish I knew more!

there you are again by the woman you love
holding the darling child that you both have created
with Gods grace and miracle making
i am so glad to know you!

your daughter is walking
oh how you smile so to watch this miracle walking
you yell for your love but she is sleeping,
so you just watch the glory,
you can tell her later!

you two are playing now she runs from you hiding under her blanket
you sneak up but not to fast for she is just a child
she is to beautiful to ruin her fun,
you walk slowly as she peeks through the blanket
you jump out to attack with such love she screams in fun
as your soft hands tickle her!! i am so proud of you!!
you have made such a great father!

but fun can not always last.

you call a friend
I have some money here want to go hunting?
you going out for a small job... you say.. to the one you still love but know that this is the only way to escape.
you bring the money in to here and she snatches out of your hand with a scowling look.
I am sad for you cause you stay,
but am proud for you stay for the love of your daughter
she would say thank you if she could...

your gaining weight
I am scared for you but I still look in to your eyes with joy
because you are doing so well with your precious daughter!

your sick.... your family is so worried for you! but you say you will be fine!

then the day comes... oh how i wish it never did!

your daughter she comes in... I come in..
she walks around the... I walk around the bed
mom has worked late so I come to wake you for breakfast.

she rushes to her side...
it goes black..
then I see the paramedics rush in...
I see them pushing on your chest,
what’s wrong daddy.

now  older I go to your grave side
telling you my love... I will never get to hear your voice,
ever feel your warmth father....
but I tell you
forever and always no matter what,
I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!!!
