The Melancholy Winter
Its cold,
My body is old so I can feel it in my bones,
The amount of heat produced by sleep isn’t enough,
The effects of the chill on me,
im not so tough
Im a winter baby
Its that time of the year again,
My family is so crazy they make you grin permanently,
The family word game is brought out to give joy,
all is given except to the boy,
he is upset but lets the time pass,
oh well my little toy won’t have the joy of playing since he happens to be a stubborn boy.
Oh no,
I knew not to trust the little one, but my maker
why did she betray me
I am seeing blue,
its all a hue that’s new and true.
All of my thirteen is broken into one,
I see the sun why are all fingers at me,
don’t point your fingers at the not guilty,
by motivation they say I’ve now become the guilty by association,
Face going heavy, eyes bleeding white.
I felt the world rise up at me,
Take me down I lost my grip to see
That slipped at my own feet
Now flail in the air as I wait and bleed
Please walk away and let me hurt in peace.
Can you describe what its like, I feel nothing
Can you feel this, does it sting, I feel nothing at all
I feel nothing at all, Im so numb can you tell me how it feels
Tears in eyes,
not from pain, but the laughter caused from my demise,
dead by sunrise,
but send me back to be alive,
Being alive then going dead gives you a natural high inside your head.
After all but a sip of hot cocoa
I went choke-o
Now im loco because of the yoke-o from me being dead,
oh well now that im back lets try this mentally in my bed,
it won’t be intentional but conventional and accessible for the Feds.
