Fake forced smiles
Cause a flinch of disgust
Shattered promises
Slice through my heart
Ropes of lies
That I want to burn
Selfish sick caresses
Make my insides turn
Careless reckless trickery
Fuels hate inside me raging
Time spent apart
Balloons my lungs with fresh air
Speechless calm nights
Sensually soothe my soul
Talk of permanently parting
Warms me up with hope
A distant back walking away
Creates a current of happiness.
