Crazy?
Am I crazy for this
Or because of it
I used to be so sure
Of what my future held
The picture in my mind
Was always so precise
Myself in a classroom
Whether seated or in front
Now that picture once clear as crystal
Is cloudy with the fog of change
My days in classrooms
Are coming to a close
My civilian life is ending
For my future as an Airman
My hear is overflowing
With pride and with fear
As I plan to do the one thing
I said I never would
I know this path is hard
But right now it feels right
Leaving this town and state
For the freedom of the sky
People say I'm crazy
For throwing life aside
But I say they're crazy
Cause they're too scared to try
Or because of it

Props to you for stretching and not settling for a life of complacency. Four walls doesn't make a classroom so go out there and use the world as your instrument for learning and growth!
