   I gazed outside,the air still moist with rainfall from the last few hours,the afternoon light refracting through the gaps in between the tree branches splintering one or perhaps one million fold and casting an orange glow to everything it touched even the atmosphere it seemed.
The foliage,leaves and grass were save from this and they alone were the deepest of emerald,so much so that it appeared one had to be looking through an old movie lens in which only these colors were truly shown.  
I wholeheartedly always loved this occurrence which made the world look like a distorted dream land.
When I recall it in my thoughts I always name it "amber",for the strong earthy tones present,which consequently shares the name of the incense that so often wafted around our bedroom.
It hung in the air and clung to the curtains as the smokey clouds we would drink into our nostrils and lungs during those times of passion,in which we would emerge sweaty and bruised. Then only to be gone again from the tease of loving caress by kissing each others battle wounds,and always losing a few hours of time at best.  
I sigh as my stomach turns and I press my forehead to the glass,vigilant for the last time maybe.
"Where are you now?" I wrap your bathrobe around me ever so tightly once more,despite the stifling heat of the morning it hasnt left my body.
"Cant you hear me?"
Forever unanswered prayers and questions float lazily around my head.
Forever begging the indulgence of a chance passerby-er who might happen to carry a hammer and chisel to perform a lobotomy.
"You can not hurt me with the things that you do,I pick up paper flowers and give them to you."
