Things I Do

 
I sleep -- I eat & drink

I read for hours, trying

to pump my head full of knowledge

I walk the dog, now & then

For a few hours @ night

I watch some television

Comedy & animé

I enjoy the yard --

Catch a little sun

Listen to some tunes

Once in a while I

jot down my thoughts

Other times I have

other things to do

Wash the dishes

The cleaning I so rarely get to

The bowls I smoke

So I can laze around

And eat some munchies

And often I think of life & death

And what it all means

This is what I do right now

These are the things I do for now

Maybe It'll change & maybe there's more

But life is fleeting

& I hope for more
