A Very Missed Ryno

For months now, I can’t stop thinking  
Of our younger days  
Those exciting childhood memories  
Have me caught in their nostalgic gaze  
   
I was probably more annoying  
Than I ever should’ve been  
But when it came down to blood or bone  
I was always your best friend  
   
You can talk to me about anything  
So why did you just hate me  
I could adjust myself to your new standards  
Because I’ve always considered you family  
   
You were my first friend    
In an unfamiliar town  
The second we talked about video games  
Sitting cross legged on the ground  
   
I’m happy she’s with you now  
I can see you truly love her  
You make each other happier  
Than her and I made one another  
   
You’ve ended all our dreams  
And I’m already sick of reality  
But I’m glad that your wake is pleasant  
You’re more attractive when you’re happy
