Drowning In Your Drought

Walking,
bare feet tapping on this tile,
Wondering
if all I am is worthwhile.
Pandemonium,
talking in silence,
Solving
this mystery with violence.
Cutting
my skin with the petals of this rose,
Bestowing
my life’s secrets upon my foes.
Choking
on all the love I’ve never known.
Crying
these tears I’ve never shown
Broken
and breaking, a continuous pain,
Taping
up the wounds of a heart that’s repeatedly been slain,
Wishing
only to breath sterily,
As I
self-destruct merrily,
Breaking
off every growing part of me,
Blinding
my eyes so I will never see,
All
that you have done to cause me to evolve,
And
become this crazed mystery that no one can solve.
I need;
I yearn for something more,
I know
I’m not a whore.
It’s
all fake, none true,
Yet I’m
still hurting deeper than you ever knew,
Walking,
bare feet tapping on this cold tile,
Wondering
if all I’ll ever be is worthwhile.
