Words of Love

In movies and books
Even in life
When people say about love,
Why is it always postive things?
- I love how he keeps me warm
- I love her smile
The bright and the bold
Yet only part of the
Whole truth to be told.
Why not say,
I love
- How you are grumpy in the morning,
Yet sweet in the afternoon
- When you snap at my friends
Or me, with full fury and passion
- Leave crumbs around your mouth
And sneakily lick them away.
Love not just for the 'right'
But for the faults too,
Or why bother loving in the first place?

Nicely said.

It's why I think there are a lot of people who are dysfunctional in relationships because they can't love the good and the bad in a person. Too bad they don't consider that they themselves also have good and bad for another person to love...or not.

They look for an angel, a knight, and then question and break them down when the ideallic tapestry is torn asunder. I am moon and star, and must be taken thusly. The ol' hypocrite rears its ugly head and is not heeded by those who not only own them but are them!
