Calling Into The Darkness

Surrounded by darkness
Alone with my thoughts.
They are all I have now.
My mind has lost direction somehow.
All light has been extinguished.
The misery and the agony take hold
I have been calling out into the darkness.
Unable to rest.
I call out once more
Waiting for an answer.
There is no reply.
No one hears me plead.
No one will watch me bleed.
Not caring what I do. Should I stay? Should I go?
I scream this time.
I scream out in agony.
Then I realize, it's just me.
Trapped in the world of tomorrow.
Trapped in my own mind.
This is not a dream, It is very much real.
Alone from now til then, until I heal.
Wake me up, save me from my fear.
But no one hears.
Stuck in my coma.
Roaming around the world of make believe.
I can stay, But may I leave?
Frozen inside myself.
Doomed to be alone, and never wake..
