My Expression

Intense emotions flow violently within me
Declaring my utter importance for humanity
If expressing myself  is taken away
I know I must meet insanity

"The man" tries to censor my heart
and erase my feelings birthed from my soul
He tries to eliminate emotion
To gain nothing but control

By narrowing the people's emotion
He can narrow our opinions
He influences our thoughts
and makes us his minions

A minion of a human broken record
Blindly quoting Hateful propaganda
following biased politicians
and forgetting my rights from the miranda

"The man" tries  to take away our expression
and the power to an opened brain
He hands us a televsion set
and turns a complexed mind plain

That's how you try to control us is it not?
Thhrough deceitful shows portraying stupidity in television
brainwashing us of sex, money and vanity
To guide us astray from our real vision

But think again for few arent' regular joe's
we turn off the T.V to take time to see
We constantly and addictively read
And we know when our rights are being treated wrongfully

Think again before deleting our freedom of emotion
think twice before expelling our expression
doing such a thing has dangerous consequences
So you must expect rebellious intentions

You see, we are not in unison with ignorant followers
who view television daily to be blinded
no...we apart of the Artistic Rebels!
who try to feed intellect to the simple minded

So be aware there are people ready to fight back
to fight against such a conclusion
If a thing were to happen...
Expect another revolution!
