shadow man

There once was a man,
Who was called the shadow man.
He loved a girl,
Who knew nothing of him.
Each day his heart was torn apart,
The girl knew not of his love.

He went on living in the shadows,
His one true love lived in the light.
He knew her well,
But she knew not of him.
Her life was of shadows,
Her heart of dreams.
�
He wanted her to be his,
She knew not of this wish.
She was looking in the light for the one,
Who would hold her tight.
She searched all day then went
Home to live in shadows,

He admired her all day long.
Then at night would dream of her.
She wanted a man,
Unlike any other.
He wanted her,
A girl unlike the others.
�
The days went on,
�The man of shadows grew strong.
He finally approached her.
She looked at him.
He looked at her.
They fell in love.
The one right for the other.
And together they lived in shadows forever.
