Spoon Feeding

Open the doors to your cankerous mouth
as I feed you my verbal porridge
with this rusty spoon.
Hoping all the while, that you'll choke
on it's thick texture,
so that I can watch the very life
that you take for granted
fade from your oceanic eyes.
With just a final breath
left quivering in your lungs...
I would save you,
restoring the sparkle of your voice
and the balmy climate held captive in your eyes.
I'd wait to hear
your heart wrenching testimony
about extraterrestrial discoverings
and your new found appreciation for life...
but i know there'd be none.
