IN HIS EYES
IN his eyes I see my smile
thow it mite jus take a while
for him to say those words
that I have never herd
In his eyes I see my pain
cause I feel his strain
to release his soul
but I just can't let him go
In his eyes I see my heart
even though it is just the start
of his awake
fo today thank GOD's sake
In his eyes I see my fear
cause he thinks his end is near
but he just can't go away
heaven will not need him today
In his eyes I see my soul
cause I had to let him go
but in my heart I no he's hear
but I loved my father so dear

I thought this was about a lover untill the last part, then l reread it to have the proper persective. Nice poem

Very sweet,yes at first I thought you were talking about a lover also until the end.all n all great poem I felt those words
