Words are such a crazy and powerful thing.
But see the only thing words can't do, is change what happens.
So you can tell me.
I won't amount to anything,
Even scream it to me.
But it's up to me what happens next.
Your words are just sounds,
Drifting around me.
So I can tell you,
I'll be a hero someday.
And you can laugh in my face.
But that's okay.
Cause it's up to me what happens next.
And I will be a hero one day.
To my little girl I'll be a hero...
And I'll be exactly what I want to be.
