empty sea

molecules of liquid luscious
emptiness, in waves it gushes
around the thoughts we think, we are
hard as rock close to a star

plunging through deep space electric
pushed and pulled together, a trick
of movement through space unseen
until we wake, dispel time's dream

this certainty we know what's happening
this arrogance, this ego's lapping
on the shores of who we are
one with Moon and Sun our star

one with Earth and too the ocean
one with stillness and with motion
one with you who's one with me
swimming in an empty sea

within molecules of liquid luscious

stuck in loops we keep returning
back to where we were when yearning
to be the ones we really are
