Diversions
She painted me a picture
Of a beautiful scene
Told me it was heaven
Past the wilting green
Painted the sunset purple
Because of the royal hues
Swirled the clouds around the sky
To make it seem all fused
The object was waving goodbye
The ship was sailing away
The ocean was wearing its caps
As my love drifted astray
Of a beautiful scene
Told me it was heaven
Past the wilting green
Painted the sunset purple
Because of the royal hues
Swirled the clouds around the sky
To make it seem all fused
The object was waving goodbye
The ship was sailing away
The ocean was wearing its caps
As my love drifted astray

Yes and Event Horizon in the making. Thanks for stopping in Broomie. You're always welcome here.
Re: Diversions
Love the allusion of an event horizon - its always just out of reach. A very nice diversion and a lovely poem.

An intoxicating bitter-sweetness which is appertain to love in transit. Enjoyed the "painting".
