Secrets

If he could,  
would he pull the veil  
away from my face      
and look into my ambers eyes?    
And If he did,would we coalesce?    
Would I even let him?      
Will he ever notice how amazing I think he is,    
how brilliant I know he is if I don't tell him?      
If I don't inhale his scent      
and quietly linger  
while whispering I love you in his ear,  
I love your mind.    
What would it take to rise to the challenge,    
to make my move?    
And if I could, would I?      
Probably not,    
It's not my way....
