memories folded within a fragrance
almost forgotten like lovers first kiss
embraces tight remembered so well
A song repeated romancing her heart

black tears in remembrance of when
romantic words spoken love's bouquet
evoked restless needs yet unmet
melting the khol around her eyes

the song went on, lover's dance
no romance tonight a memory whispered
no slow dance against glittery curtains
no cigarettes shared with the wan moon

Folded on warm sheets embracing loneliness
