Song meaning
This is more of a personal song, written with some instructions on some parts, then a story concept type of song.  I was rushing fast to get out of the shower after singing and screaming out the lyrics.  I really never found anything I was good in until I was in high school and became obsessed with writing lyrics.  That became my passion and I guess my gift, God gave me.
This song talks about the way my parents take advantage of me in a wrong way and how they took me and my brothers money.  This is the last screaming song I guess I'm ever gonna write, so I told myself to make it brutal and honest, no more lies.  The best part too me in this song was the part where I sing HOLINESS and INNOCENCE together.  I connected the 2 words and tried to sustain both, trying not to split the rhyme of both words or just try to sing them both together without taking a breath in my stomach.
The first part talks about a group of friends who grew up together in so many ways.  So it's like the present time of where they're all now,  out of their homes and living with their own rules.  Then the rest of the song talks about the struggles they go through while in school and how they found hope in something they believe in.
