Taken By The Dark

Walking away she turned her back,
On everything she'd held so dear,
Her hopes,her love had flown alack,
There was nothing left to really care.

Somehow he found her lonely there,
All alone in a lightless room,
Sad,shaky,shrinking in fear,
Broken down in a state of gloom.

His stare beared a mystical look,
His godly figure beamed with life,
Like a knight from the story books,
For once she wandered off her strife.

His voice gentle,soft and nice,
She could no longer hold within,
For once she looked into the stranger's eyes,
Warm feelings came flowing in.

Without a thought she took his hand,
Stretched out with an assuring smile,
She didn't even try to understand,
Why with this stranger she must walk a mile.

She poured out her soul and warm tears,
Came cascading down her cheek,
He wiped her tears and pulled her near,
His touches tender,mild and meek.

"I am not here to take away your pains,
Or send through to heaven your prayers pending,
To promise to show your soul to light again,
Simply will be mere pretending."

"For all I have are dark secrets to share,
Come with me if you wish to see,
A place without worries and fear,
Of magic swirling endlessly."

Looking back she saw nothing worthy,
This was a chance to start anew,
Body,mind and soul;she gave in wholly,
To this dark lovely dude.

Feelings aroused,passions blend;
Passionate kisses here and there,
Her misery has reached journey's end,
Now she knew what her dark strivings were.

Trying in vain to save her soul,
All along she was missing her way,
Now this fiend has taken control,
She knows her soul's being stolen away.

Resisting nothing she marched on,
With the stranger into the dark,
For once her dazzling glow was gone,
But here's a chance to get it back.

"All your wishes are coming true,
But here's one last chance to think again,
For once we walk in there,me and you,
You'll never feel like a mortal again."

Her heart leaped with wild excitement,
At the thought of immortality,
The breeze whistled through the hall of silence,
As he looked at her intently.

"I've been living in a dream all along;
My heart's broken,the pieces are everywhere,
Through it all I've tried to be strong,
Chasing a goal I can never near"

"I'll go with you;my dark prince,
Lead the way and I will follow,
Fearing nothing,neither will I flinch,
At the thought of not seeing tomorrow"

He took her hand and smiled,
A beaming fire in his blood shot eyes,
She cowered a little but then defiled;
All frightful feelings there and then died.

Then he surmmoned his magic spell,
Lightining flashed with thunder bolts,
Fires,powers,leaped from hell,
This time the kisses came with powerful volts.

Now she was lost forever,
In the womb of the darkest tomb,
For once their lips clasped together,
She turned icely cold and numb.
