Autumn
The fall of Autumn marks the end,
Belies the shadows to come,
The long cold winter slowly descends,
Marking what has become.
The noose tightens around my throat,
I feel the light slipping away,
My body shall fall and be cast to the moat,
Never to again to see the light day.
My one regret, to last forever,
It Shall haunt my heavenly ascent,
For I would have died happy if we had died together,
But your body shall never be sent.
Through the wastelands beyond the walls,
I’ll march through snow and fire,
Arriving at last in the eternal halls,
Finally free of greed and desire.

The noose tightens around my throat,
I feel the light slipping away,

Arriving at last in the eternal halls,
Finally free of greed and desire.
