MAD HATTER

To cap, or not to cap: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler to go bare headed
Letting the wind blow though my hair for vanity's sake,
Or to protect those precious strands of beauty,
By hiding them under a hat, hidden from the world?
For what hat is more lustrous than my fro?
What bonnet has the power to turn the girl’s heads like my locks?
Covering my head would be like hiding a light under a rock
No, I refuse to be corked like a bottle
So here me declaration, “A hat I shall not wear!”
For my lion's main must flow free in the breeze
Never to be hidden that others might not see
That is, in case, by chance, I start to go bald
Then the idea of wearing a hat, might not seem so bad
After all!
