Just Like You

Observing the curves that design her smile
She's always there to the rescue, kind of girl to keep on speed dial
I grew to admire and respect her thinking no one could compare
Yet one day I saw the tears in her eyes
Breathing hard as if there was no air
As I held her in my arms and she whispered in my ear that there something she realized
And That's when she said....

I wish I could be just like you
Way you just grab your will and fight through
I wish I could be just like you...

Just a boy lost in the crowd
I Yell but my voice ain't that loud
Trying to find my way out
But out of no where I find her embrace
In her ear I whisper what my heart wants to shout
Then we're face to face
And that's when she said...

I wish I could be just like you
Way you just grab your will and fight through
I wish I could be just like you
Way you stick to your word just like glue
I wish I could be just like you...just like you....
