I don't live a "dramatic" life,
Some people say that makes me boring
Some people tell me their "dramatic" tales
And my face starts contorting
I'm yawning
My brain is snoring.

I guess my friends are "boring" too
Well I see unique,
Inspiring people
Shared nights fit for silver screen,
Now somehow
Our nights feel like sequels.

It's a combination
That requires investigation
Were fighting for a living
While embracing intoxication.

You could say it's predictable
That we're all creatures of habit
When you like the life you live
You can become a life addict.

Still,
We're just, there..

Searching for that brief instance

Where you realize your alive
Yet still
A dot in the eye
Of Infinite,

Where you feel vibes rise
and then fall in dissonance,

When we gaze at the stars
Do we simply stare into distance?

Time after time after time
Appreciation turns to novelty
"That's just life, It's what we do"
Entitles every auto-biography
Of today's street squires,

A chorus from gospel choirs
envelops this epiphany
They holla YOLO
Modern man's contingency.

So "That's life"?!? That's the
Romanticized
Definition of vague,

Life's slaving for faceless tyrants
So you can afford to get blazed,

Life's scrimping the dole
Running for buses in the rain,

Life is tomorrow
Or yesterday was in vain.

Life's 2 billion years ago
Life is Today.

I'm overwhelmed by monotony
So I need to make a change
If the scenery was different maybe
I could rearrange
The pieces of my mind
Snap out from this regime,

Maybe I'll wake up
from this day to day dream.
