I miss our mornings as i review the paper,you on the train,we talking all the way
I miss our heated discussions and arguments on the world and what lay at stake
I miss you reading my mind and completing my sentences
I miss pestering and nagging you till you check the mail.

I miss your voice and how you spoke my name in dutch,Caribbean twang
I miss our proud arrogant talks and fights and the call thereafter when you couldn't sleep in that state
I miss the audios the videos and the events of the places we went
I miss talking about the kids,our Christina,my old man,granny and the day.
 
I miss my nasty man demanding pictures,"C'mon now Mami,you know i wanna see the lingerie!"
I miss you playing me on the big screen wearing that helpless look as if am some kinda of superstar to you
I miss your excitement and contentment after we have done it yet again
I miss sleeping so peacefully for less than two hours yet ecstatic for dawn to see your face.

I miss you for so many wonderful feelings,reasons and actions
I miss you for every little thing and detail
I miss the deep woman that i am when am with you
I miss you too much mostly for simply being you.
