Mother's Day
I dream about you all the time,
Would your eyes have been blue or brown like mine?
What colour would your hair have been,
Would you have been every mother's dream?
When you grew up a little what games would you play,
Would you have stayed inside or be out in the day?
What spread would you have prefered on your toast,
What flavour ice cream would you have liked most?
Would we be close when you were all grown up,
When you were No longer mummies sweet little pup?
What kind of girl would you have asked to be your wife,
Who would you have asked to share you long life?
I know it's pointless the questions I ask,
But I can't stop myself of thinking of the past.
The future is still coming and I wish you could tell me,
What kind of mother would I have been, would I still be?
