I love your work here ... But admittedly I loved when mine moved out - it gives me space to write in peace

Yeah, it's a weird feeling, becoming an empty-nester.  I'm sure I'll settle into it, and find a new normal, and I'm both excited and scared at the same time for both me and my daughter.  The husband....well, he'll be an issue to contend with, as this is going to send him over the edge with loss and depression, especially after the funeral of one of his elderly aunt's last week. It'll be me that will have to face all the crap that will come of that--he doesn't deal well with change at all, so it will be showdown time.....  

Thanks so much, Miki!  It's bittersweet, and I know she'll do just fine.  I remember feeling the weirdness, on her first day of pre-school, and now she's going off to college.  It's been a year of losses, all around, with 4 funerals so far, two of them this summer.  Lots of changes, and life takes you along, whether you want to go or not.  I'm sure I'll adjust fine--I always do!  :)
