You pull me closer to you
And emotions rush out of control
Don't know what I'm supposed to do

But I fell when you touched me

Can hardly figure out what happened

And I'm finding comfort here

Untangled me from webs of thought

All I can do now is feel
Body contently frozen
This moment so pure and real
Pounding heart wide open

I love how you hold my hand
I feel the depth of your affection
Intensity consumes me and
There's no defence from this connection

Fingers delicately intertwined
Protective walls pushed to the past
Forgotten about space and time
State of soothed, of calm, relaxed

A sweet and tender silence
Softly brushes the atmosphere
We've been hit with love's defiance
No words needed, feelings clear

Conversational hearts race
Laying wrapped up in intrinsic pace
At rapid speed they communicate
Evidenced by smiling face

And I don't know where I am
Or where I'm going to go
All I know is I love being with you
I'm lost inside the flow

Absorbing this moment entirely
Breathing each second if it were the last
Letting myself go inspires me
To want to give love another chance

But for whatever time is left
I will memorize every detail
In case I can't have this again
If we should try only to fail
