I just don't understand

I don't understand why sex is more shocking than violence, more shocking than genocide, more shocking than poverty, more shocking than illiteracy, more shocking than racism, more shocking than fascism, more shocking than apartheid, more shocking than bigotry, more shocking than brutality, more shocking that abuse, more shocking than the violent and dehumanizing act of rape, more shocking than corruption, I just don't understand.
