Dishonest Man

The mind thinks of so many questions
Do you really want the authentic answer?
I use to believe I needed to know
Now I believe in my intuition..

A man gives himself away
He cant hide, completely, - extramarital affairs
He will lie unto the heavens,
to disappear when she's sleeping -as if nobody cares

No burden has he
who finds agreement with his conscience
shifting on to each new day
as if his sins just float away

The disappointment fades
without any confirmation
What remains is numb and unaffected
Eventually he will become desperate

He evolves into a stranger
often yelling to the wind..
Her ears hear nothing and do not care
It's past due now to go somewhere

Awaken to life alone yet free
Gone is the sadness and so is he
A struggle is better than biting his hand
for less is better than a dishonest man
