What thought, what feeling
in life occurring? recurring
in you, in i;
what of life tracing,
pacing time and herewise
in the near'st-by heart
what delight and dreaming,
what seeking and
re-seeking;
what breaking and remaking?
What price to weave of these,
the dooms and countless dreads,
the thousand-million riches O life of thee
to bind the ligaments of body and mind
to the now of things, and here
what holding what releasing?
what use it be
turning turning turning,
these fibres of desiderium
bleeding me, bending you
and i together -
what thought, what feeling
occurring, recurring
- what of life racing,
tracing time and herewise
in the near'st-by heart,
seeking and re-seeking,
breaking and re-making....
