Were you caught sleeping,
Drowsing by chance
Atop the natural world?
M'dear Prudence,
For the sake of the resistance
New optics may be required
To be fitted into the hexagonal skull.

Our molecules gather speed in silence
Until all is elucidate and vibrating.
We push against the heraldry and azure limits,
We bend beauty to brace the corporeal body.
We learn new mechanics, new movements
and with new hands we bury old grievances.
We strip the stale varnish from the margins
and that which is destroyed
Becomes the ambergris of the new process.
Here
We hunger further
Under an opulent skyfull of stars
Whose bejeweled branches fall around us
Like those of some great weeping willow,
Veined with gold-dust, immarcescible
in immaculate darkness.

Let loose your golden hair again, Love;
We kick up the engines
to ride the wanderlust down.
