Connected

The easer of my mind and body, a shining ray of light
The One I wish to wrap myself around in the dark of night
 
A modern day Renaissance man, talent and knowledge aplenty
A Chef feeding my soul, Poet caressing my mind, the Master of my anatomy  
 
With strong slow tender hands; possessing a quick wit
His heart is shared in eloquent words, lovingly writ
 
Experience and care; a soothing warmth that washes over me  
The calming voice of understanding in rolling emotional seas
 
Never jealous, cantankerous, or moody, Scotland’s joyful spirit
Expressing thoughts and feelings by sharing touching lyric
 
Allows me the freedom to be myself, no weight of unreasonable restriction
Under my skin, He expands my heart, and fills my thoughts; a growing addiction.
 
In wondrous attraction, with laughter and smiles reaching out, connected from the first
Dreaming of His knowing gaze, lips against my skin; drinking me up in a sensual thirst.  
 
Tethering me tightly in bonds of mutual respect, love and appreciation
I yearn to give and take; magic in touches of emotional and physical reciprocation
