Thoughts taking over

My head won't stop turning
Thoughts constantly swirl
Cant stop the voices
Makes my mind whirl

It keeps me up at night
I can't shut it off
I try with all my might
To make my mind turn off

I toss and turn
My hair I pull
At all hours of the night
My thoughts continue to rule

So the pills I take
Is this a mistake?
Its the only way
To make the thoughts go away
