Save Me
There's Beauty in my eyes no more,
Most things in life i just abhor.
I try to see what lies in store,
I'm living,
But what the fuck do i live for?
The years go by, we live to die,
Putting such Hope into our lies.
If this is it I'll say goodbye,
Please save me,
Please save me from this lonesome life.
There's much I know I'm missing still,
But I cant find what I cant feel.
No Time to heal, no Time to kill,
I'm fading,
and there's no pills to cure my ill.
I've Loved and I've been cast away,
I've fought until a brighter day.
I've gone through Hell, and just to say,
Please save me!
Please save me from this fucked up place.
This place is perpetual pain,
The mental kind that wont refrain.
I feel like I'm fucking insane,
I'd cry,
But tears are always shed in vain.
This place, this fucking space I'm in,
This dungeon built within my skin.
No peace I find, my head just spins,
And spins,
Til' finally I say "you win".

This is absolutely, amazingly, well written. The sorrow buried within this radiates off my screen, and I can relate to this so much. I hope you find your savior, though poetry looks like it's helping.

Thank you, its the first I've written in months so I'm glad its not crap. Poetry has always been a Savior in one way or another. Sometimes a little more is needed, though. Hopefully I can find out what and try to obtain it before I blink and I'm 60.

Ouch... I like the chaos I feel in this, like how it stretches just to snap back into its original mold, how all of your attempts only rescinds progress and leaves you unchanged when the world around keeps challenging flat terrain.
I would say though, be your own savior. If you wait for someone else to do it, if you wait for someone unmarred, unbroken and stable, it will never come about. You, however, are strong even shattered, brilliant, even stained. Be your own savior.

Thank you, I'm glad that you liked it. I felt the same way while I was writing this, about being my own Savior, but then I thought again: how can I be my own savior when it is from myself that I feel I need saving?. And I couldn't think of an answer.
I do understand what you are telling me though, and I agree, if I wait for a Savior I may be waiting for a long time or even in vain.
