Because You Were There...
Because you were there,the night wasn't so long and boring,i had someone to talk to,you whispered soft words that brought back my strength and courage,you took my misery away.
Because you were there,i welcomed the rising sun with hope,i let go of everything that held me down,in mad ecstacy i wandered about,like a mad man round the town.
Smiling everywhere i went,greeting all that came my way,i felt like someone in love,nothing could snatch the joy i experienced,because you were there.
The world was one big bright globe,void of worries and stress,i couldn't worry about anything at all;despair,distress disappeared,all because you were there.
