DINNER WITH JESUS

Set two plates side by side
closed her eyes and prayed,
"Jesus i dare you,
If you real
Come over right now,let me see your face.

Light fill the room
still voice answer
"Baby girl you are late
hand over my spoon am already here.
"What is it you need?"

She said,"Tell me why i am so messed up?
You said i do my best,i be blessed
If i love another my joy will be full
So why is it that i never get it right?
I keep falling
Jesus you must have seen how hard i try
still,still i fail
Why is it that am never good enough?

He said,"I have seen you read the gospel,you must know how hard i worked
Miracles,teaching,forgiving,healing,restoring,loving,and you know how my story ends
Betrayed by one of my own,do you remember how many times i fell?
Oh how they beat me,abused and trashed me,look at me,look at the piercing
At the cross,you do remember me crying? wondering,"My God,My God,why have you forsaken me?"

He said,"Sparkling stars and the Moon with all her shine don't compare to your goodness
Still,many stripes of sorrow and grief await you
Sickness,rejection and lots of pain fill your cup
but if you let me in,you will never go through it alone
I'll caught you when you fall,nurse your wounds and spring you back to life.
But you have to let me in.

Tears streaming down her face,she looked up to Him and couldn't restrain
She fell on His feet and like a sign,she heard Carrie Underwood voice next door singing
"Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
Save me from this road I'm on

She let Jesus in.
