Mactan Adventure

 
Last month, my husband and I booked two nights at a beach resort on Mactan Island. We thought it was a wonderful idea before the end of summer. To have a quiet relaxing time together. When we got there, lots of people were swimming and karaoke-singing. Employees of the San Miguel Yamamura Packaging Corporation were having a team building party. I thought it would be horrible, but it turned out to be funny. The singing was quite bad. I thought that was funny. It was low-tide so we couldn't swim on the beach. We went swimming in the pool instead after people got out to play volleyball. It was fun swimming in the pool with the karaoke music playing. The next day it was the Nissan Motors Corporation. That was fun too. They didn't sing as badly. They were screaming and laughing as they played their team building games. They also had a sand-castle building competition. Like the San Miguel party, this was just a day event. They left in the afternoon. I missed them. Later that evening, some people arrived for a poolside party. It was the Rotary Club. They were laughing, drinking and jumping in the pool. Soon they were throwing up. That was no fun. They left around midnight. For a moment I was afraid the Panasonic Football Team might arrive.
