the perks of being a virgin are many
and not being one offers few if not any

I won't offer something that is so very rare
to a guy who might turn out not to care

people laugh and call me a silly and stupid fool
but I'd rather be a fool then some mans filthy tool

I play safe and away from boys I tend to stay
and I tend to scare and keep the weak guys away

the there is a couple of boys who have been trying
I'm not the kind of girl who falls for one skilled in lying

I'd fight to love in a fair, straight kind of way
I'd love a guy who plans to stay every single day

real love is so very hard to honestly come by
not when so many take the time to fake it and make others cry

death is easier to find then this thing called real love
and a kiss harder to give then a forceful shove

I have loved two boys who have had me in their bed
but the thought of taking my virginity scared them instead

why are modern guys such wimps? why do they run?
when they could instead man up and have some clean fun

I want a guy who will honestly love my mind
and in return I can/could be so very kind

but, no, guys fall for my body first
and for my body they only thirst

so I hate them with a blood curling fire
for I want and desire an intellectual bonfire

I will never stop looking for someone who can hold a conversation
of you CAN make my mind melt and I'll make any accommodation

but if you make me cry, go crawl into a hole and die
for I don't need the tears, and if I cry, you're going to fry
