You scare me...
My mind tells me to run
But my heart continues to long
Long for more than you can offer
Long for things I cannot tell you
Out of fear you'll turn away..
You scare me..
So bad I lie awake at night
Too afraid to think of the future
Knowing the further I slip
The deeper we venture
The higher you take me
That much harder will be the fall..
You scare me..
And yet I continue to yearn
Needing every touch, every kiss
Every stolen moment
Knowing that's all we'll ever be..
And even though you scare me
My true fear lies within
Realizing that I am forever changed
Feeling I no longer belong
Floating, searching
Needing all that you have
All that you can't give me
Loving all that you are
Breaking at the knowledge you will never be mine..

So I remain in my silence
