God bless the child

Yo son honestly I am so confused/
the devil got me all seduced/
I lost it and got it back/
this my life on a track/
my greatest weakness is that I trust every man/
rule 1/ never put your life in someone else’s hand/
cuz your enemies be like snakes in the sand/
they workin’ on their own master plan/
they’ll be in disguise offering a helping hand/
but can't nobody help/ I am at war with my Self/
Dear Lord show me Your way/
guide me thru night/ and guide me thru day/
I try to stay humble, loyal and pray/

cuz ain’t no kid born racist or ignorant/
every kid is born faceless and innocent/
it’s the world that we livin’ in/
this world full of hate and sin/
that creates the monster within/
society break and make men/
so if society is sick/ we got sick men/
that’s why I hold it down with my pen/
got nothin’ but unconditional love for my kin/

loneliness got me pondering on life and death/
where is my last stop/ heaven or hell/
I wish I could but I can’t tell/
I encrypt my rhymes with hidden signs/
only vivid to certain minds/
you deal with yours/ and I deal with mine/
that’s the philosophy I live and die by
 
I see every day pass by at high speed/
having visions of a life without sorrow and greed/
wake up sweating, realize I left my Self on the battlefield/
my heart torn apart and my mind imprisoned/
I see the devil, and I sense his mission/
what did we do/ since pain is something we all go through/
instead of hating the world you living in/
you better check yourself/ and hate the sinner within/
I was raised to take care of myself and my kin/
that’s why I go all in, with one purpose, to win/
