A Broken Promise,
You Said You Wouldn't Leave,
I Watched Myself Bleed,
I Wanted What I Didn't need,
Your Just Like Everyone Else,
You Said That You Wouldn't Hurt Me,
But You Watched Me Cry,
A Broken Promise,
Your Not Here Anymore,
And Now I'm Locked Beind A Door,Laying On The Floor,
With The Blade In My Hand,
You never Did Understand,
A Broken Promise,
You Never Cared,
You Said You'd Never Leave,
I Watched Myself Bleed.
Your Just Another Broken Promise.

well, everyone has their reasons for coming and going. personally, i really, really don't believe in making promises. no one knows anything about the future, or even if there is a a future. so, this is a very passionate poem, but very one-sided.

I think you're writting from a place that many aware and caring women could relate to. You're work gives me some insight into my sister's psyche aswell as a few ex girlfriends.
