Beginning at the Ending

Albert E. told us that in our world light is too fast          
And we remember yesterday but not tomorrow          
The apple falls to the ground          
Life starts when sperm meets egg, embryo develops,          
then comes birth, growth, reproduction, production, old age, death          
         
But I wonder about after death          
Can we make the jump          
To a world where light is too slow          
Where we remember tomorrow but not yesterday          
The apple springs to the tree          
Life starts with death, grows younger, more energetic, more playful,         
enters the womb, ends with the separation of egg and sperm          
         
Appears some have made the jump more than once          
Having visions of being here before          
Some remember going from the darkness to the light, freedom, growth  
And others recall going from the light to darkness, crowded, separation  
     
When we sleep can the spirit wander          
traveling to tommorrow and back  
   
In the beginning there was darkness, and then there was light
And they went towards the light
To be born
