1. The river bed
 is exposed
 the bones
 of
 fossils
 can still
 be
 seen
 still we
 dance
 in it's
 corpse
 like kids
 in a park.

 2. Tides of thought
 in
 out
 in
 out
 like
 breath
 ebb
 flow
 go
 arrive
 and
 recede
 day and
 night
 plankton
 in a
 pond.

 3. "What do I know"
 well
 I never doubt
 humanity's ability
 to kill the rest
 on
 an  Industrial scale
 progress
 frequently
 is new means
 to
 Murder
 we have split
 the atom
 went to the moon
 mined the marine depths
 with radar
 yet we still have not
 learnt
 as a society
 to care
 still we don't
 teach peace
 and still
 for so
 long
 we leave
 many behind
 we have not come so far!

 4.  We rush timeless
 we think thoughtless
 but without not doing
 like seagulls fighting
 over crisps
 miserly
 and grasping
 cold clawed, cold pawed,
 flawed
 1 has replaced our sense
 of
 One
 Have
 instead
 of being.

poet
it is
hard to
conceive
like fish
swimming
in the sky
or
squared  circles

passing reforms
is like banning
alcoholics
from
drinking in the park
it looks
like action
it removes the
issues
considered ugly
but does not
go to
the hert
of the
problem
