Little Orange Bird

Little orange bird, perched on a silver tree,
Your white garbage surprises the alone
The obtrusion does no crime nor justice,
But without it, you would never have flown
Those who frown on you, call them prejudice
Because of them, will you ever be free?

Little orange bird, do not say your goodbyes
Feathers only feel heavy in your mind
Your knowledge seems bound to this dreary branch
But simple songs of birdkind rend you wise
Note that it's not how you have come to be,
Little bird, it's what you have come to be
