 What was once a mirror image
Now just faces amongst a stepped on puddle
I used to feel a funny feeling
That made me feel free
We used to be so close
We fit together like the puzzle pieces
We once delicately had lain
Inseparable love is what I thought of it
But it was tainted

Upon finding the joy in our verdures,
I discovered a horrible truth.
I was but a piece of arm candy,
A face to look at with fake admiration,
A filth that you looked down on
With not a single ounce of pity
For what was enviably coming
Not only is that bad
But the truth came from the lips of a friend
Not my friend pray tell
One of yours
After you severed the head
Of our ever so lively love
I sought help to console me
I stumbled upon your dearest friend
And she told me everything
She told me that you are a wicked old black widow,
Feasting on your companions
Until you get bored of their taste; you got bored of me.
You used me and you lied to me

We talked of your sickness
You and me
Over and over
You said you slit your wrists
Watching the blood pool at your feet.
I remember it was a game to you
When brought up by a male friend.
You said that you wanted to end it all
You told me it was over because you had to face your demons on your own.
WHAT!
Are you mad?
That isn’t how you deal with that sort of thing
Ignorant child!
Then, not three weeks after
You got yourself another hubby
You must be mad.
Now over a year has passed
Since we first admitted our "love" for each other  
I understand your juvenile search for “the one”
Will never be fulfilled.
I hope this vent
Will help me stop thinking about you.
I haven’t been able to stop.
