"Wishes"

          
           
This couple, married twenty years
visit a mountain village, escape the city smell
The third morning while taking a stroll
they discover a wishing well
           
Each toss a penny, offer their silent request
He being curious, peers in to see how deep
Falls over the edge and drowns, she shouts
"Holy shit! It worked! This is sweet!"
